Helen Eno Obareki was born on August 24 to Pastor Umo Eno of Ikot Ekpene Udo village in Nsit Ubium LGA and his wife Patience from Ikot Akpa Ekop in Mkpat Enin LGA of Akwa Ibom State

The first daughter of her parents, Lady Helen attended Morolu Nursery & Primary School, Lagos before proceeding to Dansol High School, Lagos for her Junior Secondary education, after which she switched to Hillcrest High School, Calabar for her Senior Secondary education. After a brief time at the Igbinedion University Okada, she moved to the University of Oklahoma where she graduated with a degree in Multidisciplinary Studies and later a first-class MBA in Human Resource Management from the Oklahoma Christian University and she has received several certifications in Human Resource Management, Project Management and Customer Service

Professional Career

Lady Helen Eno Obaseki’s academic excellence as an accomplished Human Resource (HR) professional with expertise in strategic HR practices has led to a career in HR which spans multiple industries, including the banking and hospitality sectors where she worked as the General Manager of Royalty Fries, an SBU under the Royalty Group, as well as international experience in the pharmaceutical industry in the United States.

Transition to Public Service

The homegoing of her mother, the Wife of the Governor of Akwa Ibom State in 2024, saw her transit from her role as Personal Assistant to a higher responsibility as Coordinator, Office of the First Lady and Chairman of the Pet Project of the First Lady, the Golden Initiative for All, GIFA, taking on the roles and responsibilities of the office of the First Lady, including serving as Coordinator of the Renewed Hope Initiative, pet project of Senator Oluremi Tinubu.
