In alignment with the ARISE Agenda of His Excellency, Umo Bassey Eno, the Akwa Ibom State Government continues to demonstrate its commitment to sustainable economic growth and agricultural transformation through the establishment of the Agricultural Equipment Leasing Facility, Uyo. This landmark initiative underscores the administration’s strategic vision to transition the State from predominantly subsistence farming practices to a modern, mechanized agricultural system capable of delivering increased productivity, food sufficiency, and improved livelihoods for farmers. By prioritizing access to modern farming technology and removing structural barriers to large-scale production, the project represents a critical step toward repositioning agriculture as a major driver of economic development in Akwa Ibom State.
