The 10.4-kilometer Hospital/Ukpom Abak–Idoro/Pepsi Junction Road in Akwa Ibom State links Uyo and Abak Local Government Areas. Governor Pastor Umo Eno commissioned the fully reconstructed and asphalted road on July 16, 2025, to improve rural connectivity and ease access to the General Hospital at Ukpom Abak.
